Combination of EOS & ETH

EOS Classic is based on the consensus of EOS & Ethereum, the first highly scalable smart contract blockchain, with transaction fees covered through small levels of token inflation.

Community Owned

EOS Classic is sharing the same initial token distribution with EOS ERC20 token, about 90% of Genesis allocation of EOS Classic is owned by EOS Community at 1:1 rate with EOS

Proof of Work

EOS Classic is using Ethash POW consensus as a main algorithm, highly decentralized proven by major blockchain.

Why choose EOS Classic?

EOS Classic is a blockchain platform with its own cryptocurrency (EOSC) that is based on Ethereum & EOS protocol, based on a stable foundation of EOS ERC20 token distribution & ethereum protocol, it aims to build a decentralized app market with its high availability and security based on Ethash Proof of Work consensus.

Starting from the $12 billion market cap that comes from EOS ERC20 token distribution, EOS Classic aims to build its own currency that can work as a store of value & means of exchange. Without any possibility of downtime, censorship, fraud, centralization, or third-party interference, EOS Classic provides databases, account permissions, scheduling, authentication, and internet-application communication to massively improve the efficiency of smart business development that uses parallelization to make possible blockchain scalability to millions of users and millions of transactions per second.

EOS Classic airdrop

All users holding EOS ERC20 tokens will get EOSC on a 1:1 ratio. The EOSC airdrop snapshot is scheduled to take place on the June 3, 2018, 7:00 AM GMT+9 (It happens when the ERC20 EOS token freezes for the mainnet launch). The airdrop is expected to be in early June. Only the holders that have EOS tokens at the time of this snapshot can receive the airdrop. EOSC airdrop will have snapshots of your EOS ERC20 token at June 3, 2018, 7:00 AM GMT+9.

Exchange users' EOS is generally placed in a cold wallet. Needs to be handled by exchange management personnel.

Frequently asked questions

EOS Classic is a blockchain platform with its own cryptocurrency (EOSC) that is based on the distribution of EOS ERC20 token and Ethereum protocol.

Sharing the vision of EOS, EOS Classic is a continuation of EOS ERC20 Tokens as a combination of EOS & ETH.
Yes. EOS Classic is the continuation of the EOS ERC20.

It is a fork of the Ethereum blockchain protocol, with its unique that allow it to grow and scale.
Anyone who held EOS ERC20 token at the time its movement is frozen became owners of EOS Classic.

This means that all EOS holders as of June 3, 2018, 7:00 AM GMT+9 have the same amount of EOS Classic as they had EOS at that time.

If your EOS token are stored by a third party such as an exchange, then you must inquire with them about your EOS Classic.
The reason for the change of consensus is the lack of support for the 100% airdrop to all EOS ERC20 holders ( eosDAC and EON doesn't support 100% airdrop to EOS ERC20 holders,

due to it's complicity for users to register their airdroped tokens, and even the eos mainnet doesn't include all balances from ERC20 ( see https://eosauthority.com/genesis for more info )

and we believe POW consensus can achieve more decentralization , security, and store of value even if it has asic vulnerability compared with common dPoS coins that is already public.
MyEtherWallet, MyCrypto, ClassicEtherWallet, and Metamask will support both Airdrop and Transfer.

If you are storing your EOS tokens on the 3rd party provider that doesn’t mentioned above, please email us at [email protected] or inquire with them about your EOS Classic.
EOS Classic is usually represented by the ticker symbol EOSC.
